Marching through March
March 8, 2013
Can you believe we're in marching through March already? For us here on the farm it's all go. The fields are all ploughed and are ready for the next stage and the sheep are starting to look a bit plump! Winter seems a long time ago now as this week we enjoyed some beautiful Spring sunshine and warmth. The usually dull looking hedges are alive with bird song and splattered with the bright yellow buds of Gorse, it really does feel as if the countryside is coming alive. We are always asked where we get our inspiration from for our scents. Well, if you were to look out of the window from the office in the distance you can see the Atlantic Ocean, rugged cliffs, Trevose Lighthouse, numerous fields (ploughed & unploughed) banks with primroses & daffodils plus miles of Cornish hedgerow. If that's not enough to get the creative juices flowing then I don't know what is!
