Cornwall at Easter Time
April 17, 2014
This time of year Cornwall definitely lifts the shutters and is open for business. There is so much to enjoy and take part in over the Easter weekend - looking for inspiration?
Beaches: in a published list into the Best Beaches in the UK, Cornwall boasts 5 locations: Watergate Bay, Crantock, Porthmeor, Porthcurno and Kynace Cove.
Get your walking boots and wellies on as there is so much you do on the beach without going into the sea! When was the last time you went stone skimming or flew a kite?
Gardens: The National Trust has 6 beautiful gardens dotted throughout Cornwall which will all be bursting into life this time of year.
Food: and for the foodies among us there is a plethora of award winning cafes and restaurants throughout Cornwall from Jamie Olivers Fifteen based at Watergate Bay (Just a 5 minute drive from us here at St Eval) and Rick Steins Seafood Restaurant down the road in Padstow. April and May are full of food festivals with the Porthleven Food & Music Festival at the end of April being just one of many. For more information on where to eat and what's on why not have a look at the Good Cornwall Guide.
If you are in the area, we do have a small shop filled to the rafters with everything St Eval and some great accessories - pop in and grab a bargain. We are open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (excluding bank holidays). Need directions - click here
