An Elegant Hideaway for a British Summer...
June 2, 2015
Thanks to wonderful programs and magazines we are all inspired when it comes our home interiors but here at St Eval Candle Company we are gearing up for summer and thinking about revitalizing something that's normally off the interior radar. We're thinking of the great British shed, a perfectly elegant hideaway.
It is a space in your garden that is usually taken for granted but with a bit of imagination it can be transformed into an elegant hideaway or creative den for children. It's time stop taking your garden shed for granted and enjoy being in the great outdoors and enjoy the summer come rain or shine- there's no excuse with a space like these.
To make your elegant hideaway all you need is paint, pretty fabric, cushions, fresh raspberry lemonade and of course a tranquility candle to help you relax a little more...
If you have friends and family around for a summer picnic then why not make a delicious, fresh homemade Raspberry Lemonade?
Here is what you will need for your pretty pink Raspberry Lemonade:
4 cups fresh lemon juice
3 cups sugar
1 bag frozen raspberries
Ice cubes, for serving
Squeeze the lemons and pour the juice into a pitcher. Mix together the sugar with 3 cups water and stir to dissolve to make a syrup. Add the syrup to the lemon juice and top it up with 8 cups water. Taste to make sure it's sweet enough for you, and then add the raspberries. Mix the lemonade together and let chill in the fridge. (Keep in mind that the raspberries are tart, so be sure to sweeten enough!)
Fill mason jars with ice cubes and top them off with the lemonade.
