The purchase of products from this web site is governed by these terms and conditions. By submitting an order you agree to our company’s terms and conditions, which are based upon current main online shopping regulations. Please read them carefully as they contain important information.
We reserve the right to change, modify, substitute or remove, without notice, any information on this site as necessary.
Products
All goods are subject to availability and we will endeavour to inform the customer of any items that are unavailable as soon as possible. Products may vary slightly in colour from the described item, as each one is individually hand made.
Liability
St Eval Candle Company will not be liable In respect of customer or third party recipient failure to comply with product safety instructions resulting in willful damage to/or loss of whether direct or consequential to personal property. If the goods supplied are not what you ordered or are damaged St Eval Candle shall have no liability to you unless you notify the company of the problem within 3 working days of the date goods delivered and transit packaging is kept for inspection. The company needs to be notified within 10 days of the invoice date if goods not received. Once these conditions have been met St Eval Candle Company obligation will be to issue replacement goods for non-deliveries and damaged goods. Refunds are at the discretion of the Company.
Back Orders
While we endeavour to maintain good stock levels of the items in this website, we regret that we cannot always guarantee to have everything in stock. We reserve the right not to send out small back orders if it is uneconomical for us to do so.

Payments
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Switch and Solo, if paying by Credit/Debit card St Eval Candle Company will contact the customer for the payment details. Cheque orders will not be processed until payment has been cleared.
All prices are exclusive of VAT and we reserve the right to amend prices otherwise stated. The total cost of your order is the price of the products plus delivery charges as quoted on the order confirmation page of the website. The displayed price on the order confirmation is the amount in pounds sterling that you will pay.
Order Cancellation
You are entitled to cancel your order at any time within 10 days from date of delivery provided you or the recipient notify us within this period and the goods remain unused.
You will be liable for any postage costs incurred as a result of returning items to St Eval. A refund can only be given less 10% handling charge provided items returned and on inspection are in perfect condition. The return address can be found on the ‘contact us’ page.
Breakage Claims
Claims for breakages or any other damage must be made to St Eval Candle Company in writing or email within 3 days of receipt. All transit packaging and damaged items must be kept for 20 days in case an inspection is required. Any box that arrives damaged must be signed as such. For non-delivery of goods we must be notified within 10 days of the invoice date.
Export Orders
Export orders are accepted on a proforma basis only.
Export orders in excess of £250.00 nett can be delivered to a mainland UK shopping agent free of charge. There is a £15.00 delivery charge for orders less than £250.00 nett. Alternatively export customers can arrange for collection of their order (upon notification of its readiness) at their own cost.
Export orders outside the EU are exempt from VAT. Freight and administration charges will be relayed at cost. EU customers must provide their VAT registration number prior to despatch of goods.
Governing Law
The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English Law, and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your Statutory Rights. Errors and omissions excepted.
We have taken care to describe items as accurately as possible; however slight variations may occur due to the handmade nature of our candles.
