Launching our new website - Posted by Louise 14/07/08
Welcome to our new improved retail website and online candle shop. We have been working hard to get the site up and running to make it easier for you to make orders. We now sell the majority of our candles in single quantities so that you can pick and choose a selection of different candles and fragrances. It has been a busy couple of months as we have also transferred the distribution of our candles to a storage and packing centre called Netpack who are dedicated to our online sales. The guys there are really helpful and friendly so give them a call if you have any queries about our products, your order or if you have a special request. The contact details for sales queries are on the ‘Contact Us’ page.
Things have been picking up and would you believe we are already working on our Christmas stock and brochure?! We have a fantastic new Celery and Herb fragrance just arrived in the Victorian Herb Range, it’s smells scrumptious so give it a try!! We are also really excited about two new candles coming soon to the English Eccentrics collection. Check back in August for details of Wintergarden and Tea with the Queen.
Farm News - Posted by Ian 14/07/08
As you may know we are based on a working farm so we thought you might like to hear what has been happening on the farm as well. The summer weather has been a bit on and off so far this year, but luckily work on the farm has not been held up. We now have our hay bailed and safely in the barn, a favourite job with the children! Our sheep were shorn a few weeks ago, they always look slightly silly when they are newly shorn and its funny watching the lambs trying to work out what has happened to mum!
We also heard about some battery hens that were to be destroyed as the farm they were on was ceasing production. So having made contact with the lovely people at Cornwall’s Voice for Animalswe are about to take delivery of a dozen of the hens. We are looking forward to their arrival as space here is not a problem and they should have a great life here with our chickens and turkeys.
